In between the can floor and the battery splash shield there should be a small rubber seal to prevent wheels spray to spray over the battery. Got it in quite nice (stock) if I might say it myself.

Battery Splash shield

Battery tray
The new battery tray had some problems with the bolt holes alignment, apparently all the aftermarket battery trays has more or less bad bolt holes alignment.
