Rear fenders mounted to bed

Got the fenders mounted a couple of weeks ago. This is really fun!!

Picked up 1st batch of painted parts

A picture of a color is never gone make it justice but MAN when I came to the paintshop today and fell over these beautiful fenders just inside the door. BAM!! I just knew I had made the right choice.

Snapped some after shoot from sheet metal guy and before pictures of the rear fenders before I dropped them of to the paint shop.

Got some sheetmetal back from mediablaster

Got some parts back from the media blaster. No big surprice and media blaster was knowledgeable and did a great work.

Cleaning some paint of the fenders

Have been cleaning my fenders before I send them over to mediablaster to clean all the edges that I cant reach with this disc below. It works perfectly!!! After media blast they are of to a sheetmetal guy that will help me fix some dings.

Ok now the undercoating was removed and it was time to adress the dings and dents all over the fenders. Started to sand of some of the color to get a visual view of where the high and low spots where located. Remember this is the very first time I am trying sheet metal dent repair, so be patient with me ;-)

Here we have a pretty smooth low spot that I started out with.

Damn 24 hours later and the paint hasn´t risen yet, I guess the former owner had putten on a 2K primer, I was a bit dissapointed and decided to take the parts out for a wash to get all the paint stripper off. But wait a minute......
