Head gasket, extra cooling holes
The Feal Pro head gaskets suggest to drill some extra cooling jacks in between 2-3 & 6-7 cylinders to increase cooling for the gasket to extend the service life.
I masked of the cylinder decks to be able to work safely without risking to get some cutting into the cylinder bores.

Test fit of water and servo pump, pulley adjustments
The bracket I have is for a Ford Thunderbird (ECD-33559)
The bracket I Need is (EDB-33559-A) that will clear the offset truck pulley. The hunt is on.
Fuel Pump Bolt Oxidization
Took the NOS fuel pump appart to check that everything was in order, even the diaphragm rubber felt ok. However the bolt holding the pump together looked a little "aged". So i decided to try and black oxidize them slighlty in some oil.
Heat them with a torch and put them in some oil to cool down and wipe of.
Mouning harmonic damper
Time to mount the NOS harmonic damper, was a bit worried when it was time to mount the it. Earlier test mount had been difficult and it got stuck quite early, even without the key. However meticulous deburing of the shaft end,. and also the edges of the hole, cleaning and some grease made all the difference. It was tight but got it far enough by hand so that the bold got enough threads in, so that it could do the rest of the work. Torqued it down according to spec and with some loctite thread lock medium.
