Motor planing

Engine block:

272 or 292  truck block (ECG or ECK)
Linehoned
bored 3.875" (0.075" over 312 std)
decked equally distances
Squared
Lifter Bores Channeled for Better Oiling
Improved timing chain lubrication

Crank:

312 crank with main bearings grinded to fit 272/292 block.
Gives a 3.44" stroke instead of the 272 & 292:s 3.30"
Rods journal grinded to fit 2.1" rods witch gives an additional 0.07" on stroke to a total of 3.51"
with C1TE rods would give 331 ci.

Internally balanced

Heads:

Posted ECZ-G heads with hardened exhaust seats.
Porting.
Port matching
Stainless 2.02 intake valves.
Stainless 1.60 Exhaust valves.
1.54:1 std rockers.
Pressurized rocker shafts.

Pistons:

3.875" (283 chebbie pistons)
Balanced


Connecting rods:

C1TE HD truck 6.252"
Balanced

Intake manifold:

Mummert´s 4 barrel intake, high rise manifold.

Exhaust manifolds:

Mummert´s Repro Y-block Ram horns.

Distributor:

MSD 8383 ready to run distributor with black distributor cap 84313
Or the 57 up original dist with Petronics conversion, haven´t made up my mind yet.

Camshaft:

Not decided yet

Others:

Double roller timing chain
312 oil slinger left in place
