As the plan is to finish the chassie this winter and I am about to make a big order of parts to cover the next step of the build, Cab and sheet metal. I went over the cab and sheet metal to see what I needed.
The door hinges had damaged "door stops", those two small metal flaps, where all across the board bent out a fair amount. These where pounded back with a good anvil and a sledge hammer. Three of the hinges where in good condition with non or close to no flex in the hinge. However the forth was damaged and repaired with a nut and bolt and some welding. This had also a far amount of play. This one is heading to the scrap bin and a good one is put on the wish list.
