My truck says 3SP OD on the vintag and has the complete Ovedrive transmission but for some reason it lacks the Overdrive emblem on the hood. Figured it was time to make the mounting holes for the emblem before I send the sheet metal to the sheet metal guy.
Got som good feedback from a thread at FTE forum and this thread, From Abe I got the exact dimensions of where the holes should be. See below picture.
Rattlecaned the front to get a uniform paint to draw and measure one.
Measured out the centreline and from hood edge to centreline of badge.
The dimensions sure are everything else than symetrical.

The interesting thing was that when I put on the badge and but the hex nuts on the inside, there was holes in the supporting sheetmetal that lined up perfectly spot on. Nice.
