Modifying block for cam chain oiling when running pressurized rockers

With some good guidance from Y Block forever forum and Ted Eaton, it was quite a quick fix to modify the front of the block to add squirt oiling to the cam chain and gears.

Making a vertical marking just above the oil routing to #1 cam bearing. Also mounted the cam pressure plate and marked the outline of the very same.

Marked out and drilled a 4.5 mm hole (IMPORTANT NOT ALL THE WAY THRU TO THE OIL CHANNEL)

Then a smaller hole, 1.5mm, is drilled all the way thru.

Adding a horizontal line to be able to make marks on the pressureplate

Mounting the pressure plate and marking the horizontal line

On the backside (towards the block) grind a slot about 0.9 mm deep at the edge, and added a small 4.5 shallow hole..

Done!!
