Time to take the bed apart. Plan is to galvanize the bed strips and hold down hooks, add the stock bed hold down washers and repalce the wood with siberian larch. The bed sides will be replaced with original old ford ones but in better shape. The right one is quite beaten up on the top and the left one is quite good. All the 4 crossmembers will be straightened, mediablasted, painted and reused. The front will be replaced with a new one made out of thicker steel.
One of the crossmember was quite crooked so it had to do some time on a bench press to get it straight again.
