First off all I started with prying out the rear seal with a crowbar. Then I took out the roller bearings. Due to all the grease that has been collected over the year I couldn´t figure out how to get the bearings races out, so I took it to work and used a hot water cleaning cabinet to clean the hubs from all junk.
Then it became guite obvious that there was some small slots where you could get access to the backside of each bearing race.
the slots becomes much more obvious when the races are out of the hubs. Next thing is sandblasting, but keep in mind to make shure you protect the threads on the bolts and the surfaces where the bearings are to be mounted again later, especially if you uses some really abrasive sandblasting material.
